In response to Winter Storm Hernando, the Region 1 HMCC is partially activated and supporting facility status reports to the State Emergency Operations Center. Partners with specific reporting protocols should follow the agreed systems and schedules:

• Hospitals will report via WebEOC’s Facility Status Board (FRISBEE) – https://mdph.webeocasp.com/
• Long-term care and assisted living will report via ProtectADVSR – https://www.protectadvisr.com/
• Community Health Centers will report via the Mass League
• All other health and medical facilities or agencies experiencing impacts should fill out the Region 1 Facility Reporting Form as needed and submit to the HMCC Duty Officer at [email protected]. You can reach the 24/7 HMCC Duty Officer at 413-774-3167.

Additional Information:

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) issued a on Sunday, 2/22/26 granting ambulance services the permission to transport individuals they are called to, whom have no-medical need, to local shelters. A copy of this waiver can be found posted on DPH’s WebEOC.

DPH’s Drug Control Program regulations allow hospital pharmacies to dispense medications to emergency room and discharged patients pursuant to 105 CMR 722.090(B), (1) (2) and (C).
